Behind everything that we do at Ripple Effect are our volunteers serving in over 20 roles. We truly could not do it without our volunteer team offering their time and God-given gifts. Check out our volunteer opportunities below and let us know what interests you!

Antiques
Do you have an eye for older treasures? Join us as an Antiques volunteer! Help us by identifying and determining prices for sale of antique items in store!
Baby Room
If you can’t help yourself around all things little, you’ll love helping us a Baby Room volunteer! Help us maintain organization of the baby room and use your creativity to create displays for all the seasons!
Books
Do you love reading? Help us sort through our donated kids and adult books, maintain the various sections and create fun displays throughout our “libraries”!
*Checkout Assistant
As a checkout volunteer, you’ll ensure a smooth checkout experience for all. Your friendly demeanor and willingness to assist will help create a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers. Whether you're assisting with bagging merchandise, answering the phone or customer questions, your contribution will be a great help to our team.
*Clothing
Do you love to scour resale stores for clothes? Volunteer with us! As a Clothing volunteer, you can help us by sorting and organizing our adults and kids clothing and finding trendy items for display!
DIY/Upcycling
Do you see treasures where others see scraps? We need your upcycling skills to makeover select donations into must-have items. Volunteers doing restorations are welcome to work at our workshop or their own!
*Donation Sorting & Pricing
If you love treasure hunting, you’ll love volunteering as a Donation Sorter and Pricer! Help us clean, sort and price donations before they head out to the store floor and find their new homes.
*Drop-Off Room Sorter
As the first stop for all donated items, the donation room holds the key to the efficiency of our sorting process! Use your organizational skills to help us quickly process donated items.
Electronics
We are blessed with new electronics every week! As an Electronics volunteer, you can help us test, repair and prepare various household, kitchen and other electronics for the store floor.
*Gardeners
Help provide fresh produce for local food pantries by becoming a regular Victory Gardener! Your willingness to water, weed and harvest our fruits and vegetables will bless families in our community.
Online Sales
As an Online Sales volunteer you can help us display, post and monitor online sales of one-of-a-kind items on various platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Ebay and our e-Commerce web page.
*Pick-Up & Delivery Service
If you’ve got the muscle, we need your help! Our Furniture Pick-Up/Delivery volunteers serve as needed/as available to pick up couches, tables and other furniture that community members donate as well as deliver items purchased by customers.
Saturday Service
Saturdays are typically our busiest days for donations. Join us and help by assisting customers dropping off donations and processing donations for the store floor. Your help allows us a great end to one week and excellent start to another!
Store Help & Merchandising
Do you have an eye for detail and outstanding customer service skills? Use your attention to detail to help us maintain excellent organization of our displays and offer extra assistance to customers as they search for their treasures!
Window Displays
Help us put our best foot forward! The window displays are the first thing that customers see when they visit our store. Use your creativity to help select trendy items for each of our seasonal & holiday displays!
